note to me

most bloggers are self-centred and pretentious. the more successful you become, the more pretentious you get.blogging in mauritius is like a huge talent show. everyone wants to show that they are good at this, good at that, even those who are lame, find a way to impress.you will get to see paintings, drawing, music analysis, craft objects, room decoration, flower planting, car photographs.this shows a certain immaturity in mauritian bloggers.we have not yet learnt how to impress people by writing something meaningful, something unselfish. the day mauritians start writing good articles, without putting their huge ego in their posts will be a red letter day.

i can imagine the dilemma of the mbb reviewers when they have to review blogs and find themselves reading a me, myself and I blog which contains only blah blah blah blah blah me me me me me blah blah blah. this is it, this is the truth, but not the only truth i fear.

there are some blogs that are laudable with good writings, unpretentious posts but they are getting rare and i dont want to review them coz i know they will end up being like the others sooner or later.

blogs i particularly hate for their pretentiousness:

yashy2v.wordpress - apart from the fact that he posts pretentious articles all over without giving a true reason about the whys of certain things, he also posts some "logic games" on his blog. he takes his know-it-all air and asks people to comment and answer but not to check the answer using search engines! why he does that is because he knows the answer is readily available on the net. then he posts the right answer and everyone is in awe. you got it? he got the riddle or whatever somewhere on the net and he got the answer too. he just posts it there pretending to be omniscient.please guys tell me you saw that too? am i the only one seeing the truth?

another blogs is:

priscus.wordpress - a blog by a girl.she does some lame photography on her blog and while posting she also adds that the photos are basic but the idea is good! how about letting people judge that by themselves stupid?and she also criticizes her university a lot, complaining, complaining, complaining. she has a lot in common with the above-mentioned blog, yashy2v.wordpress and funnily she is on his blogroll and the note he adds to the link is "I'm not the only one voicing out UOM problems...finally"

Yes they think that uom students were waiting for only these 2 losers to change their lives.now guys tell me you see that too!

the truth is hard to bear. sorry for those who are friends with these two. i mean really sorry, not because my review was harsh because i pity their friends.

be back for more...

There's nothing wrong in writing about you and yourself. I mostly think that people should write what they feel like writing, irrelevant of what others may think. Now, if you find them pretentious and self-centred, I guess, nothing can be done.

lol...now that's an interesting review! i particularly like the first paragraph! beware though, it may start a flame-war!!!

btw, you may be blurring the line between personal blogs and professional blogs (or pseudo-professional blogs)...

having said that, i'm backing ya 100% coz i've been thinking of blogging similar thoughts...

OK! Inability to take criticism well, that's very immature.

hmm.. sa piti antish la daprE lord li ki pliss immature la dans...

dude, didn't you ever knew that you need authorisation to write about other people?

LOL, you must be really... stupid if that's the case.

K! Inability to take criticism well, that's very immature.
Really? Or is it that you don't or (can't) to your brain to reply properly to a comment?

..and probably you have never heard about freedom of expression? Anybody is free to write what he feels like on his blog, as long as he is not going personal on other people without their proper consent.

It is with these few words that I shall take your leave, for I am busy most of the time, expect to be surprised very soon.
